👋 I'm Jonathan Min, documenting whatever breaks in the homelab this week.

Notes on why parts of a homelab, especially attack VMs like Kali, shouldn't share a network with real home devices, and how Proxmox bridges make that isolation possible.

Building my first homelab firewall, I hit a Proxmox disk setting that silently ate every install, then reversed WAN and LAN and knocked my entire house offline in the same 24 hours.
